With the July 1, 2019 deadline for CA 434 fast approaching, California agencies are turning to Equidox to make them compliant. CA AB 434 – CA State Web Accessibility Law
California AB 434, the California state web accessibility law, requires all California agencies and entities to post a signed certification from their Director and Chief Information Officer that their website is in compliance with CA Sections 7405 and 11135, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, or a subsequent version, published by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (WC3) at a minimum Level AA success criteria. This means California state agencies now have two months to certify their websites to be WCAG 2.0 compliant.
