Indiana State Digital Accessibility Requirements
Indiana is committed to inclusion and universal access in all of its services and programs. All state digital resources must comply with Section 508 standards. Indiana Code 4-13.1-3 was created to ensure all state information technology equipment, software, and systems used by the public or state employees complies with the accessibility standards of Section 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 508).
Public Accommodation Laws
It is unlawful for an individual to be denied access or to receive poor service or lesser quality accommodations because of his or her disability.
