Software Developer

Equidox is looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team and work closely with our Product Development and Data Science units. In this role, you’ll help refine our existing solutions and develop new tools to expand our capabilities. Primary Responsibilities

  • Refine, optimize, and extend our existing codebase to improve functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with our data science team to identify bottlenecks and deliver effective solutions.
  • Take ownership of development tasks, delivering high-quality code that meets user needs.
  • Interact with various internal teams, including development and remediation units, to enhance our capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Flask.
  • Experience in code optimization, refactoring, and design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Java and C++.
  • Experience in accessibility is a plus.
  • Acquainted with concepts in Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Normal working hours are 9-5, M-F, EST.
